About

Studio Lovisa Heinius is founded and run by Swedish designer and artisan Lovisa Heinius, based in Stockholm. She creates textile art and handcrafted objects for interiors and spatial environments. Each work is meticulously made using a variety of materials — textiles, paper, metal, and wood — often transforming unique finds and recycled remnants into new, thoughtfully designed creations.

Lovisa experiments with proportion, texture, light, and color, shaping each piece to bring balance, harmony, and a gentle presence to the space.

The studio’s works range from decorative room ornaments to made-to-order interior solutions for both homes and public spaces. Many pieces draw on traditional techniques, such as Korean patchwork (pojagi), where smaller pieces of fabric are stitched together into larger artworks with seams cleverly hidden so that front and back are identical. Each work is unique, and the studio provides tailored solutions based on the client’s needs and the space.
